We are making encouraging progress in our efforts to secure Arne’s early release. Our legal counsel is actively pursuing every possible avenue, and two legal procedures are already underway:
1. CJIB procedure – A formal request for Arne’s release has been submitted, clearly showing that he has no assets or financial means to pay the outstanding amount.
2. Court procedure – A separate case has been brought before the court, seeking both a reduction of the outstanding amount and, at the same time, Arne’s release.
We expect to hear back on the CJIB procedure within the next two to three weeks, and a court hearing should take place within a maximum of three months.
While there is still uncertainty, I remain cautiously hopeful that Arne can be released before he is transferred to another detention facility.
This has been an incredibly heavy and emotional time for Arne and for everyone who cares about him. Knowing that so many people are standing beside him — through donations, signatures, messages, and unwavering compassion — has made a profound difference. Your support has not only helped move this legal process forward, but has also reminded Arne that he is not alone, that he is seen, and that he is deeply cared for.
