College football is unique in America in that votes by media members and coaches help to shape the perception of the post season. While the Associated Press, has not contributed directly to the playoff or BCS formulas, the AP Poll is still pivotal in developing the narrative of relative strengths of the 128 members of the Football Bowl Subdivision.

In order to ensure these polls reflect the educated opinions of the majority of the nation, the AP has taken measures to select sports writers from varied outlets across America. To be selected as an AP voter should be viewed as an honor, and not taken as an opportunity to 'troll' the nation.

Drew Sharp has taken his position and denigrated not only himself, but also the sport of college football and the prestigiousness of the Associated Press. Put simply, he is an embarrassment to the AP and the Detroit Free Press. 

Sharp consistently voted member institutions of the Big Ten athletic conference 5 to 10 places lower than the consensus position for the respective teams. He then takes to social media to openly mock fan bases on his obviously ridiculous  voting.

For a member of the media to behave in such a manner, under the banner of the Associated Press is embarrassing.
