Give timber wolves a more prominent role in Zootopia 2 or potential Zootopia TV series.
The Issue
The wolves in Disney's 2016 animated soon-to-be classic Zootopia were not given a lot of attention. Any wolves shown in the film were just background characters who only had at least one line of dialogue and didn't do much throughout the entire movie. Keep in mind that this is a movie that is meant to teach us that stereotyping is wrong, brought to us by a film company that has exploited the Big Bad Wolf stereotype for several decades.
As a child, I had fallen victim to media's stereotypical portayal of wolves as being quote-unquote "big and bad," then as I got older, I grew out of this false world view and broke free from the bonds of the media. Upon earning a better understanding of wolves, I long for others to be able to have that exact same understanding as well. My mission is to try to present people with the opportunity to keep an open mind, and learn that wolves are not the evil, vicious monsters that they are portrayed as in popular media, but much rather graceful, majestic, misunderstood creatures who only fear us even more than we fear them, because that's how I feel about wolves, and I am quite certain that there are other people out there that feel the same way.
The main purpose for this petition is to gather enough votes to encourage Disney to give Zootopian wolves a more prominent role and portrayed in a much more positive light in the sequel to Zootopia and/or the potential animated television series. The Zootopian wolves have quite a fanbase, and I'm trying to reach out to them as best as I can with this petition. With enough votes, I can ensure that there is hope for wolves in this day and age.
And before you say anything; Yes, I understand that wolves can be dangerous, but only when provoked.
Here are the rules:
1. This petition is available for people of all ages.
2. To sign this petition, you must be a very big fan of wolves and/or the wolves in Zootopia. If not, then I am sorry to say that this petition is not worth your time.
