Banning the Distribution of Plastic Bags at Grocery Stores in Fairfax County

Banning the Distribution of Plastic Bags at Grocery Stores in Fairfax County
The Issue
Plastic bags are invading the beautiful greenery of the Northern Virginia area. With only 1 in every 200 plastic bags ending up in the recycling bin, 199 other bags are ruining natural habitats, concentrated in inlets of the Potomac River and larger Chesapeake Bay (Conserving Now). The time to stop plastic from running rampant is now! Join me in banning the distribution of plastic bags at grocery stores in one of the largest counties in America.
