Change the Louisville International Airport Code from SDF to KFC

Change the Louisville International Airport Code from SDF to KFC
The Issue
I believe our city has made a huge contribution to the global market place through Yum! Brands and Kentucky Fried Chicken. This company has created many jobs locally and is one of the major economic powerhouses of the state. SDF, while a historically significant airport code, is no longer something that conjures up images of the vibrant, bustling city of Louisville. It seems like an abstract identifier and is often forgotten in short time. I believe travelers should remember where they've been and be able to easily find it again should they return. What three letters make people think of Kentucky more than KFC? People all over the world would be able to find our beautiful city, and we would be remembered as a city that knows how to do business, but doesn't take itself too seriously. With fun things like our Zombie Walk, the Highlands, NuLu, and the Saint James Art Festival, we deserve to be known as a city that, much like our citizens, is a warm, fun, accepting place to visit and live. Help me put our city on the map once again and keep Louisville weird for decades to come! Let's make our city known!
