Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau say NO to Uganda's dictator Yoweri Museveni

The Issue

Dear esteemed reader,

The rights of Ugandans have be violated again. Millions of voters have been robbed of their human dignity. They waited in lines for hours, many for their first times in their lives, to cast their ballot on election day, February 18, 2016. They were yearning for change after a 30-year repressive regime of Yoweri Museveni. Independent observers from the African Union and European Union suggest the elections were marred with voter intimidation, police and military brutality, bribery and widespread vote rigging. Ugandans voted overwhelmingly for Dr. Kizza Besigye, the leading opposition candidate, but Eng.Dr. Badru Kiggundu of the Electoral Commission declared false results on February 20, 2016.

As concerned Ugandans, citizens of the world, Friends of Uganda and taxpayers in Canada we are making two requests:

1. That Canada and the rest of the world leaders completely reject the election results of Uganda's Presidential elections of 2016 announced by Dr. Kiggundu

2. That an independent body is set up with representatives from Canada  (that one time provided aid of about $40m to Uganda), the African Union and other Western countries to recount the votes.

It is an insult to our humanity and citizenship when gross human rights violations take place within our watchful eye. Canada, the African Union and the West are known to be protectors of human rights. Let Ugandan voters know that its not a crime to be African. Stand for their/our rights and freedoms.Say NO to dictator Museveni!
