Anthony is one of the best people I know and right now he and countless other Americans are experiencing the downfalls of the horribly run Passport Agency. Americans who have waited years to be able to leave the country for various reasons are finally able to with the COVID restrictions coming to an end. Finally, families, friends and loved ones around the world can come together. This includes Anthony and his best friends, roommates, and brothers from Virginia Tech and Delta Sigma Phi who are set to see each other in Cabo for a wedding, a once in a lifetime event, at the end of this month. 

The only problem is Anthony, and people like him, still have not gotten their passports, meaning this chance to be apart of two people's special day will be ruined and we will never get this chance again. Anthony sent his passport in and needed more documents which he sent in 3 times now and we have confirmation of their delivery but despite this, still no passport! His passport application was received the first week of December 2022. Although we have contacted congressional members, waited on hold for hours with the hotline, they are saying NOTHING can be done to fix a situation that they caused. There is no way to contact the agency directly and no way to ask them to fix their mistake.

This is a clear violation of our right to petition the government for a redress of grievances! They need to be held accountable to the issues that Americans are facing and to the fact that their own incompetence is causing Americans to miss monumental life events! Please sign so that we can get the passport agency to issue his passport in time for this trip and so we can hold this mystical and impossible to reach agency accountable! They serve us the people and it is our right to protest against them.
