My son had a very scary incident on his 3rd day of Kindergarten.  He was allowed to go to the bathroom alone and because he missed me he decided he wants to walk home.
He was able to leave school through the front doors of the building which are immediately next to the Front office and are video monitored.  He was found on a major road far away from school luckily by a person who happened to know me...pure miracle. She brought him back in her car and no one knew he was even missing. He was gone for good 20 minutes.
The principal, Ms. Fay Jones never called me until the end of school day...she put my child on the bus after traumatic experience and lied to me about the incident.  I found out the exact truth from the mom who found him.  Ms. Jones refuse to meet with me until 2 days later and continued lying through that meeting saying she had no idea how far my kid has gotten while in the same meeting the Counselor told me that my child was asked how did he get back to school and he told them by car. 
The lies continued as Ms. Jones tried convincing me that my child's teacher was at fault too and she was not.  The substitute who let him out was responsible.
I requested to see the video that they had of my child walking out and I was informed by Ms. Jones that it was deleted. They were under investigation when they did that.

Security has not improved in the school since that and I feel that as a leader of the school Ms. Jones is putting our kids in jeopardy.  

I have had many parents reach out to me since I made this incident public knowledge and there has been numerous scares with kids at this school.  I feel she lacks the ability to provide security and honesty and she needs to be removed.
