Kevin Muscat, was Melbourne Victory's founding captain His leadership and brilliance in that role, carried the fledgling club towards 2 championships and premierships (06/07, 08/09). In a time of confusion and quick transitions, he became the team's coach. In two season's he led the Victory to its best season yet, winning the "Australian Treble" (Premiership, Championship and FFA Cup) and solidifying his position as a club hero. That season he was also awarded the A-League Coach of the Year (14/15), amongst the Victory Medal itself three years in a row (05/06, 06/07 and 08/09). He will go down in history as one of the club's greatest with a career spanning 15 years, in an era of growth from nothing.
