How can a community heal without answers?

It has been over a year since the homicide of Deshayla Harris and the Hampton Roads community is asking just that. Deshayla was shot and killed at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront on March 26, 2021 and since the tragic night there has been little to know answers about who killed her.

Deshayla's case needs to be investigated by a higher legal standard than how it is currently being done because:

-The detectives have changed over the course of the investigation and the family has not been given updates on the current state of the investigation. 

-There are multiple documented errors in policies and procedures where the Virginia Beach Police Department and Virginia Beach City are concerned
