Hello HRC Supporters, 

The City of Anoka is now accepting applications for the Human Rights Commission!! City Council will be making appointments at their December meeting. If you are interested, please apply by December 2nd. As a reminder, residency in the city of Anoka is NOT required. For those of you who applied this summer, you will need to reapply but you can simply send in the same application. If you applied after September 8th, your application is active. 

The more the merrier! This past summer, people applying or alerting the city of their intent to apply was very influential in the City Council's decision to keep the HRC. We can motivate them again by (re)submitting applications and thereby showing support --- this time, to encourage them to approve our request to increase our membership numbers! This is a decision they have not yet reviewed.
