After this week's Human Rights Commission meeting, it is apparent that we are hitting the ground running! If you are interested in volunteering (currently all opportunities are remote/virtual), please email me at margahanderson@gmail.com and I will send you more details.
The Commission has also decided to increase the number of members, TBD, so if you have a desire to join the HRC, they would love to have you! Please email me for more information or send in an application to the city. You'll find the application PDF on the city website - see link on this update, application is located toward the bottom of the page. Currently, no vacancies are listed but the city will hold all applications until the membership increase has been made. Meetings will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 5pm. Residency in Anoka not required!
