ACPA HELP HERO IN HOUSTON

The Issue

ACPA is seeking relief from the City Council of Houston and its approved vendors. We contracted for our annual Convention in 2018 in Houston on the good faith and promise of hospitality and reasonable safety for all of our members. The failure of HERO represents a breach of Houston's commitment to our community. We would not have chosen Houston as a site without the understanding that Houstonians were committed to human rights for all people. The failure of HERO is not only a disappointment, it is a betrayal of the trust implicit in our agreements. Please sign this petition to relieve ACPA members of this egregious break in responsibility to protect and serve citizens and visitors of Houston. Respectfully, Dr. Cindi Love Executive Director
