Jakob's Voice Wants Answers For Justice Failings in the Case of Hemi Goodwin-Burke

Read the full letter that we have written to Yvette D'Arth with the consent of Hemi's parents, Kez and Shane. This letter is not pleasant to read, however, we hope with the release of this letter, the reality of this horrific killing will get our society off their comfortable couches to a place of outrage and turn that outrage into action to ensure that justice is done and that laws are changes to protect our children. Shane and Kez have also consented for the release of our letter in redacted form. We are appalled by a system that allows child killers and abusers to get away with a slap on the wrist following the brutality inflicted on our community's most vulnerable.
