So far Henry Cavill has had three outings as the Man of Steel but he has not been allowed to shine in a hopeful and optimistic take on the character. For whatever reason Warner Brothers believes that the failings of the previous films rest on Henry’s shoulders when the public feels that the material he was given to work with was not the best. We are demanding that Henry is brought back to film a Superman movie and that WB gives him a strong vehicle that showcases a positive Superman. No more doom and gloom. If you can make a lesser known character like Shazam a success and if you can green light unwanted movies like “The Trench” then you can certainly green light a movie that the public is actually clamoring for. Help me bring back Henry Cavill as Superman! In fact the issue is not on Henry Cavill’s side. Henry has stated: “I’ve not given up the role. There’s a lot I have to give for Superman yet. A lot of storytelling to do. A lot of real, true depths to the honesty of the character I want to get into. I want to reflect the comic books. That’s important to me. There’s a lot of justice to be done for Superman.” This means that WB either doesn’t want to pay him or they don’t have faith in the character of Superman. Either option does not reflect well on the WB.
