Anime, a creative and influential piece of Japanese culture known for artistic value and unique storytelling, deserves to be enjoyed in its purest form. As fans, we believe that anime should be watched in its original state to preserve its true essence and intended characterization.

According to a report by the Association of Japanese Animations, there are over 40 million anime fans worldwide who would appreciate the value of watching Anime in its original native language, not to mention the Japanese residents themselves who account for the largest population of anime watchers.

Stripping away the original language of anime diminishes the artistry and cultural significance that it carries. By doing so, we risk altering the very nature of the characters and the depth of the plot lines. 

We demand streaming platforms and other distributors to provide more options for anime to be watched in its original Japanese language with subtitles, rather than replacing it with an English dub. This would not only honour the creators' original vision but also cater to the desire expressed by millions of international anime fans.
