Domestic animals or community animals are very much dependent on humans for their basic needs like food, water and shelter. As they are a part of this Mother Nature, they have the first right to the natural resource gifted by our Mother Nature. One of the natural resource is lake/ river. Over the past few years when the cities in India were not very developed. These lakes were inhabituated by the domestic animals. At least they were not dependent on anyone for water. In this cruel man's world, domestic animals are not allowed to stay inside their societies. Animal lovers are not allowed to feed them or even keep water bowls inside their societies. In such a case it should be mandatory that all natural resources of water, like lakes, ponds, river banks must be dedicated to the animals first. Just like we are existing in this world created by God, so are they, and hence they should get equal rights!!
Meaning there should be no objection of any human for them near lakes. Animal lovers can come and feed them regularly. There should be concrete shades inside, where they can stay and rest during rainy season. Government should ensure basic amenities inside the lake for them, they should also organize free health treatments and vaccinations to these voiceless souls. The municipality must help in maintaining the diversity of these lakes through protecting it's plant and animal life.
In this way we can give these voiceless souls a better life and we can happily co-exist with them.
