Crittenden county Arkansas has 2 City shelters that are restricted to within the city limits of West Memphis Arkansas and Marion Arkansas.They are small and stay at compasity with the animals the get from stray calls, abandoned calls,owner surrunder and Police and cruelty cases.The county animals have no help at all.No one to watch over them from abuse neglect and cruelty. No help when they are dumped on the back roads often injured and starving. There is no one to enforce animal cruelty laws stemming from improper housing and basic care needs .Many animals  that are suffering only get help from county citizens that pay out of their own pocket for medical and then find them homes threw help from networking with rescues up north. Their is an area called Lakeshore that literally sits in between both cities but are zoned as county ,no help aviable. Many dumped animals die in the county before help can get there or are subjected to cruel treatment and living conditions.And not only do they not get help no one is held responsible. It's time for a county shelter in Crittenden county Arkansas.It should not be the sole responsible of the county citizens to provide what by law is demanded for animals within an animal control jurisdiction. Extreme heat, Extreme cold,Flies, mosquitos,starving injured.. They ate suffering and it's cruel. We ask if the city shelters are restricted within the city limits ,Then a county shelter be built to assist the animals that have been neglected and left to suffer and die for years. It's time to stop pretending it's not happening and doing nothing.. It's time for us as citizens to stop allowing this abuse! We are the only voice they have! Animal abuse and neglect isn't allowed in the city,It should not be allowed in the county either. Previous measures taken to help get the county animals help have failed,How many have to die and suffer before the people say, I'm not going to allow this and get a county shelter or county help.. County animals matter to.. But are forgotten. It has to end.. Today 

The city shelters do what they can,But their hands are tied and no space.. sign petition to save county animals lives and end county suffering..
