One of the residents in Sudan decided to visit Khartoum zoo, and just when he thought he was going to enjoy his visit while seeing animals play around with joy, he was instead  shocked and horrified by the sight of the lions residing there, he almost didn’t believe what he saw, better yet, he was surprised they still had a little bit of life in them, they were skin and bones! The cages were uninhabitable.

The lions seemed neglected and barely had anything to eat in days or even weeks, it’s surprising they’re still able to stand on their feet or even feel them! Let alone the skin diseases that will more likely spread if not medically treated. Sadly, one of the lionesses has already passed away due to their lack of treatment and responsibility but the others still have a chance of survival.

The zoo officials are claiming that they’re unable to cover their food expenses and that they’re being urged to buy them food from their own money.

These magnificent animals  don’t deserve to be imprisoned like hostages just for the entertainment of people and gaining profit! They don’t deserve to be treated with neglect and lack of responsibility as well as medical care. They deserve to be free and healthy in the wild or in a lion sanctuary where they actually belong. And only YOU can change that, YOU can be their chance and maybe their only chance at giving them the better life they deserve. With your help we may be able to avoid other deaths.
