The Rude’s (Missy, John, and their children, Lydia, Gavin and Eli) small dog Fancy Pants snuck out from under the fence Friday afternoon when their kids were out playing in their back yard.

Took them awhile to notice because they are kids, but when they did they went and got her. When she was brought inside Missy noticed she was bleeding on her side. It looked like a decent round spot, but she chalked it up to a nail on the fence. The Weekend went  by and Fancy Pants didn’t seem like herself but she was still eating and drinking. They just figured the heat got to her or she ate to much grass, all the things that have happen in the past.

On September 13th Fancy Pants took her last breath in Johns arms. This just didn’t sit well with Missy and she started thinking back to a month ago when a stray cat that they feed came over with a hole in its side. The neighbor, Blaine Raymond has said before he shoots squirrels, rabbits and any other animal out of his yard to protect his garden.

Missy needing to know if her neighbor would shoot their little 10 pound dog because she was in his yard, she went over and spoke with his father but he denied it. Blaine later came out and when asked about the dog, he admitted that HE SHOT HER!! Saying she was eating out of some tin of left over food he had in his trash. He ADMITTED he shot her because of that!!! NOT that she was aggressive or trying to bite him or anything but because she had wandered onto his property and was eating out of trash that was laying on the ground.

12 years they have lived there, it’s not a surprise that occasionally their animals get out. Missy would have gladly cleaned up whatever mess Fancy Pants made but instead Blaine found it fit to shoot her at such close range it punctured her lung. Not to mention there were four children in the back yard at the time he shot her, what if one of the kids would have gotten shot???

Missy said that her kid’s faith in good people is a  absolutely shattered right now so let’s all come together and show them that there are good people in the world and that we care about them and their innocent pup�

This is a horrible act of animal cruelty and this petitions intent is to get signatures of people supporting the Rude’s and Miss Fancy Pants in pressing criminal charges on Blaine Raymond for killing their dog. They have notified the Webster County Sheriff’s office but as of right now are unsure if are going to do anything about it.
