We live in a town that is considered a farming community but yet the city has an ordinance against how many animals a home can have. They fuss and complain about the amount of stray dogs and cats but yet they limit the number on the ones willing to take them in and find them homes. How is this fair? If the animals are taken care of and not a nusience then why should it matter how many a home has? Yes i would say 20 would be too many for anyone to have without a permit of some kind but seriously shelters and rescues are full so why not let the community memebers that want to and have the means to take them in and care for them? I feel this is an ordinance that should be changed. I feel the number should be more than just three. Help us get this ordinance changed for the better of the animals. Should they keep check to make sure animals are taken care of? Absolutely if they have multipule animals but you cant consider us a farming community and have a 3 limit on animals.
