Zoomie is a dog in Romania who was hit over the head by a man and left for dead at the side of the road. When someone finally found him, he was SCREAMING IN PAIN.

An AWIP-supported frontline rescuer rushed Zoomie to the vets, where he is being examined right now.

Veterinarians fear the attack may have caused such serious damage that Zoomie might never be able to see again unless he receives eye surgery.

No dog should ever be attacked, abandoned, and left helpless by the roadside in agony. Zoomie must have been terrified, injured, and confused, crying out for help after someone hurt him and walked away.

Zoomie is now receiving urgent veterinary care, but what happened to him was wrong. Animals like Zoomie deserve protection, compassion, and justice, not violence and suffering.
