Friend,
Authorities recently uncovered and shut down an illegal dog meat processing and online selling operation during a joint enforcement action in Pasay and Makati, Philippines.
After receiving complaints, investigators from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) carried out test-buy operations and traced the meat to a processing site where dogs were allegedly being slaughtered and prepared for sale. When a delivery rider arrived to collect an order, agents moved in and arrested the suspects. Five Vietnamese nationals were taken into custody.
Dog meat trafficking is illegal and involves extreme cruelty. Those responsible must be held fully accountable.
At the same time, the officers who carried out this operation deserve public support for taking action to stop this crime.
