URGENT APPEAL: Right now, we're £750 short of the total amount that we need to raise this dog meat slaughterhouse in the Philippines. CLICK HERE TO DONATE NOW!

Friend,

Can I be honest with you?

I care about this work more than anything I’ve ever done but being an animal cruelty investigator is exhausting.

Not because I’m burnt out or losing hope. But because the fight never, ever stops.

While most people settle into December, organised dog slaughterhouses don’t take a break. Traders don’t stop transporting stolen dogs. The cruelty doesn’t pause for Christmas and that means neither can we.

And right now, we’re in the middle of preparing an operation on a dog slaughterhouse that has been on our radar for far too long. We’re making real progress but to take the next step, we still need to close a £750 shortfall.

It’s not a huge amount. But it’s enough to hold us back at a moment when we urgently need to move forward.

If you can chip in today, you’ll help make sure we don’t lose momentum — not on this case, and not on the others already lining up behind it.

Here is your personalised donation link: https://giving.awip.org.uk/page/dmt-dec-25

I wish I could tell you that next year will be easier. That dog slaughterhouses will close themselves down. That traffickers will give up. That the cruelty we see every day will simply stop.

But you and I both know that isn’t how this works. The people we’re up against are relentless. So we have to be relentless too.

That’s why every donation to this appeal matters. It fuels the investigations, the early-morning calls, the dangerous intelligence-gathering, the long hours, the coordination with law enforcement — all the unglamorous, difficult, absolutely essential work that leads to real change.

And let me tell you something I’ve learned this year:

When people refuse to look away — things shift.
When people join us — dogs are saved.
When people show up — cruelty is disrupted.

We’ve seen it again and again, from arrests to seizures to shutting down parts of the trade entirely. That momentum is only possible because supporters like you decide to stand with us.

So if you can help close this £750 gap today, it will mean we can move straight into the next phase of this case and straight onto the next dog waiting for someone to fight for them.

A kinder world is within reach but only if we keep pushing for it, even when we’re tired.

Thank you for being part of this work, Friend.

For all animals,

P.S. I can’t thank you enough for the support we’ve already had — from donations to petition signatures to people taking our poll. If you’re able to make another gift today, it would mean a great deal. But truly, please don’t feel any pressure. Your support, in any form, already makes a real difference.
