Friend,

I need to share something deeply upsetting and I’m sorry in advance but you deserve to know the truth.

My regional investigators in the Philippines are on the ground right now. Just hours ago, they completed another undercover visit to a roadside dog meat slaughterhouse… and this time, they were offered a dog’s head and paws for soup.

That’s how normalised this brutality is, Friend. That’s how casually these people trade in suffering.

But here’s the important part: our team has now gathered the evidence we need to push forward with a raid. We are so close to shutting this place down for good but we need your voice to get this across the line.

Friend, will you sign now to demand the immediate closure of this roadside dog slaughterhouse?

Most of the dogs trafficked and killed in the Philippine dog-meat trade are strays — the most vulnerable dogs in the community. Dogs who’ve already endured abandonment, hunger, beatings, and neglect. And then they’re dragged into this.

What our investigators heard today was stomach-turning.

The slaughterer bragged that the “best” way to kill a dog is to bash them over the head, slit their throat, and then blowtorch their body to remove fur and “improve the flavour.”

Sometimes, he said, dogs are blowtorched alive.

Some are still conscious — still trying to get up — when the torch hits their skin.

It’s almost unbearable to write this, Friend. But this is exactly why AWIP exists. Why we investigate. Why we disrupt. Why we protect. Why we rescue. And why every single voice on our petitions matters.

This particular slaughterhouse could be closed down right now, .

All we need is the pressure to ensure authorities act without delay.

Friend, please will you add your name right now to demand the immediate closure of this dog slaughterhouse?

We are so close to ending the dog meat trade in the Philippines.

Every raid, every closure, every rescued dog — it all stacks up. The difference you make today will be felt immediately on the ground.

Thank you for standing with us.
