Our newly formed team in Wales recently encountered Pebbles following a call to our Cruelty and Neglect Helpline.
Discovered in a garden shed, Pebbles was in a dire state, unable to eat or groom himself due to severe neglect and an ongoing infection in his mouth.
Our team immediately rescued and transported him to a nearby veterinary surgery, where he received urgent treatment, including antibiotics and pain relief. Regrettably, all of his teeth had to be removed.
The cost of his treatment has been a significant strain on our resources as a small organisation but, like you, we refuse to give up on him and other suffering animals. Friend, we believe in miracles because we see them happen every day, thanks to the unwavering support of people like you.
Unfortunately, Pebbles has tested positive for FIV, which means that he needs specialised and continuous care. We are dedicated to ensuring Pebbles receives this care, and we will not give up on him, Friend.
