Recently, we received a call about an abused dog living in a seemingly picturesque villa in a tranquil village. Upon arriving at the location, we were met with a sight that left us both shocked and deeply saddened. The house was beautiful, the garden lush, but behind this facade of tranquillity was a world of suffering.
We spoke to the owner about the complaint, and she confessed to a dog hidden at the back of the house. This poor dog, named Aza, was elderly and destined to endure a slow and painful death, suffering in silence.
But we couldn't let that happen.
Aza's teeth were black and infected, causing her unimaginable pain. Her mouth was a source of constant agony, leaving her unable to eat. Adding to her misery, a large tumour hung from her leg, and her nail was embedded in her paw pad. Aza was a lovely senior dog, but her appearance painted a portrait of misery and despair that no dog should endure.
