We need your support to seek justice for Shylar and countless other puppies who have endured unimaginable cruelty at the hands of unscrupulous pet dealers in the Philippines.
The photo above was taken by our investigators during their visit to the pet shop dealer, accompanied by local authorities.
This image above speaks volumes about the deplorable conditions in which Shylar and many other puppies were kept. She was confined to a small, barren wire cage, exposed to overwhelming heat. It is a stark reminder of how animals are forced to suffer when profit takes precedence over their welfare.
Shylar, like so many others, was sick and infested with parasites, including ear mites and large ticks covering her fragile body. She was also found to be suffering from parvovirus and giardia. Alongside the local authorities, we were able to rescue her from this nightmare.
Tragically, we must also share the heart-wrenching news that Shylar, has passed away at just four months old due to complications from a severe Ehrlichia infection, an illness caused by ticks.
We are determined to bring the perpetrators of this cruelty to justice and prevent further harm to innocent animals. We believe that your voice can make a difference.
A four-month-old puppy should be enjoying playful moments, but instead, Shylar endured a brief existence filled with anguish and torment. It is undeniable that this innocent pup should never have had to endure such hardship. We trust that you share our sentiment, Friend.
