In March 2022, South Korea will elect a new President.  Lee, Jae-myung, the only presidential candidate who declared ban on dog meat consumption in Korea has won the candidate finalist of Democratic. Lee Jae-myung’s pledge to ban eating dog meat is further bolstered by President Moon’s recent statement that it is time to seriously consider the ban on dog meat.

Previously Lee, Jaemyung shut down Moran dog meat market when he was Mayor of SeongNam City. He is a man of great momentum.  As an International Animal Protection Activist, I believe that someone who can end the dog meat consumption in Korea should be a great leader. His counterpart of the Republican will be finalized in a month for the presidential election in March, 9th 2021. We will deliver the petition to the both election camps, Democratic and Republican. Meanwhile, Four Republican candidates are competing for the finalist.

As an animal lover, we as an animal rights ativist urge the government of Korea and further the next president outlaw the dog meat industry completely. I sign this petition for the dogs of S. Korea set up by three organizations, SaveKoreanDogs, LadyFreethinker and Willow’s Wish.
