Animal cruelty is becoming more and more prevalent with social media being used to "show-off" and highlight cases where the abusers seem to be proud of their cruel and unnecessary behaviour. The latest case depicts a man on Rottnest Island near Perth, Australia violently kicking a Quokka (a type of marsupial) into a wall while the friend filming laughs at the cruel spectacle.

The maximum penalty for this despicable action is 5 years in jail and a $50,000 fine but it is more than likely the men will face a much lesser punishment.

In order to stop these needless and evil acts of cruelty a precedent needs to be set and I think that these men should receive the full force of the law. Please sign this petition in order to let our voices be heard in support of those who cannot speak.
