A while back, I was at the South Park mall in strongsville, Ohio, when I noticed they had a pet store. I dislike the idea pet stores for the simple fact of seeing animals in cages. However, I make it a point to check them out when I see one to make sure they are treating animals humanely. Now when I say my heart sank when I walked in, that barely describes the scene that I saw. There were puppies in small FISH TANKS. All of them looked completely out of it, as if they had been sedated. It smelled absolutely horrible and the dogs that were coherent enough to stand up were shaking. They say they’re “rescues” but charge upwards of $600. So when I started looking into this place, I found out that many animal activists have been trying to get this place shut down for years, to no avail! I myself contacted a few places and received no response. These poor dogs have no hope in sight if we do not do something. We are the only voice they have and we HAVE to do something about this. Please, go look at the reviews on their Facebook page, see what people have said. I’m not afraid to fight for them and I hope you will join me by signing.
