Fennec foxes should be made legal to own in California so long as the owner is seen responsible and/ or has experience with exotic animals by the state or expert in the health of foxes. Fennec foxes are cute fuzzy foxes that are legal in California as long as you have a breeders license. Though the state has made it legal if you breed them with a license it is illegal to own one without. With no one to adopt the fennec foxes that are born California has made it impossible to own one period. If an individual has a fennec fox under their possession the state will kill the fox as consequence. Seeing how fennec foxes are on the verge of endangerment this is contributing to their fall. People with experience with exotic animals should be able to own these friendly foxes. Fennecs have a personality that of a dog. They must be walked and have a strict diet. Fennecs are not aggressive, but actually love to socialize and get along with everything. Help me make them legal or at least avoid the euthanasia of one being caught
