Dear Mr. Herring
We are writing to you as concerned citizens regarding the Tommie case.
Tommie was the Pit Bull  who was maliciously tied to a post, doused with accelerate, and purposely set on fire. The defendant, Jyahshua A. Hill, 20 years of age, watched as the city, state,country and people around the world remains in shock and grieving. He has no compassion or remorse .And are concerned this sociopath could harm his children, which he and his wife have five children in their custody and other peoples  children.
Our hope is that you will not accept a plea bargain in this case. The judge and  yourself could set precedence by prosecuting this perpetrator to the fullest extent of the law.
People that abuse animals are many more times likely to abuse additional animals, children , senior citizens and people that cannot speak for themselves. Many known serial killers begin with animals. Our city, Commonwealth and everywhere will be more safe knowing he is behind bars and or will never be able to hurt anyone or animal ever again
