As many people know, humans are treating animals not as equals, but as beings who deserve to be looked down upon and treated unfairly. I'm sure I am not the only one who thinks that this needs to stop. Many people have created petitions just like this - to help animals across the world from becoming endangered and even extinct - but I would like this one to really matter and change the world and lots of human views towards animals.

Animals are a gift to our planet. They are a beautiful addition to the Earth, and without them, we would be nothing; everyone and everything would just fall into ruin and chaos. Yes, many animals are kept as meat (which also makes them our life source, technically) but people are, put simply, jumping at the chance; taking more than they have to; being greedy. I strongly urge you to sign my petition.

Animals are being abused. Yes, that's right: abused. If you've watched the film "Rampage" (starring Dwayne Johnson), there is a horrifying scene where a gorilla is being beaten to death while her baby son is forced to watch her dying. Many may think that this is just a film and doesn't actually demonstrate reality, but no: it actually happens in real life! Animals are cruelly beaten to death, shot for pleasure (for example, the English traditional Boxing Day shoot), skinned alive for clothes, eaten for pleasure or because it is easy and many other disastrous things. Let's take an example: the dodo bird went extinct in 1662 because people were eating it because it was easy to catch.
