20 Years! That's how long the Humane Society of the U.S. has been trying to get a ban on LIVE PIGEON SHOOTS in Pennsylvania. It's the 21st century and Pennsylvania is the last state to sanction the maiming and killing of live birds during shoots at private hunt clubs, JUST FOR ENTERTAINMENT!

Ghandi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." As Americans, I know we are better than this!

If you watch the video below, I know you will be just as outraged as me, and just as determined to end this cruelty once and for all. As you will see, it's neither hunting nor sporting to shoot a slow, disoriented, malnourished bird whose never flown before, from 30 yards away!

Please, if you live in Pennsylvania, or know someone who does, sign and forward this petition. Call your PA legislators, and tell them to put an end to this barbaric activity. Pennsylvania politicians, like so many others, are addicted to campaign contributions from the NRA. They are too cowardly to stand up for what is right, or to even enforce the Animal Cruelty Statutes that were written into law many years ago.
