There is a coyote in our community of La Crescenta that is very sick and in need of medical attention. This is very sad and not only is this a danger to our community but also to the animal its self. If animal controls only option is to release it back into the wild then they should help nurse it back to health and then release it. I can understand that some members of our community would like to see this animal euthanized but that is not our decision, we will leave that up to whoever catches him (animal control or a qualified veterinarian organization) and evaluates his true condition. This is just terrible and heartbreaking especially because our community is surrounded by beautiful wildlife, we need to help preserve and protect.
