Justice For Glizzy

Justice For Glizzy
The Issue
Yesterday July 14th 2021 my puppy Glizzy a Husky mixed with German Shepard medium sized with blue eyes 8 months of age escaped my house. When he left me and my mother than proceeded to look for him. I couldn’t find him anywhere due to him prior times only leaving a couple blocks down. I called the cops around 9 am/ 10 am. I called about 3/4 times due to them not getting back to me. I got desperate and went straight to the police office and they still didn’t have a answer of where my puppy could’ve been or if animal patrol had him due to officer Lopez working for them. I gave them my information for the third time and went to the Chicago Heights animal shelter. I asked if they had my puppy or if officer Lopez had drop any puppy around that time. I didn’t get a answer and filed a lost report. Finally around 2pm officer Lopez decides to call me back and tells me he can meet me outside my house. He arrived at my house and gave me the news. To my surprise my puppy had passed away that morning and no one contacted me quick enough for me to be able to identify him even though I kept calling trying to get information about him. Officer Lopez than told me it was too late they had already disposed him. Lopez told me it was a hit and run and there was no evidence of nothing. The accident happened in Harvey, Dixie Hwy between 153-154 couple feet away from the red gas station.
