Two of our fur babies were removed from our home on August 3rd 2021. One will never come back home.  He was court ordered to be euthanized to please our neighbors request.  This pup was falsely accused of attacking another dog.  There were no evidence or witnesses, besides the owner *(the neighbor)* that lost his dog. We provided evidence to prove that our dog was innocent.  We had witnesses willing to speak up on behalf of our pup.. The judge and prosecutor refused to acknowledge any evidence to help save our pup, yet favored the only eye witness that changed his story 3 times. The Salina Shelter also lied about the whole situation. 

We were also ordered to surrender our other fur baby because of lies provided by one of the animal shelters employees.  The judge ruled to their favor and didn't listen to what we had to say.  It has been four weeks since both were taken and now one is dead, the salina shelter manager and staff are not willing to allow us to even see the surviving one but are planning on killing him in October for complaints of barking.  This pup has never attacked or hurt anyone. The Salina animal shelter manager had nothing but lies to tell us when we called for an update and when confronted with her lies she became verbally aggressive and stated "she isn't going to let us see our dog because she doesn't want to". 

We've been very patient with the city and reached out to everyone we can regarding this issue in hopes to resolve it.  The director refuses to take our calls and the prosecutor doesn't respond. It's not justice what they are doing and reality,  killing an innocent animal is just plain torture to the family and cruel to the pet. 

We've politely asked about the body of our deceased pup, no answer.. We've asked about our other fur baby, no answer.  

Our goal is to get justice for our fur babies and bring our baby home. He has a loving family that misses him dearly and pretty sure he misses us too. 

Please help us prevent the city of Salina from killing our fur baby and perhaps clear up what has happened to our other fur baby's remains ❤
