This petition aims to stop animal abuse in Greece. It is widely known that animal abuse in Greece is at the highest level. Although millions of people visit Greece every year, it's unknown to them what goes on behind the beautiful scenes. Dogs, cats, bears or whatever animals have suffered because a lot of people in Greece have either tortured, poisoned or killed helpless animals for no reason at all. Signing this petition might work as a wake-up call to those who are supposed to use laws to stop animal abuse in Greece. Every time a cat, dog or other animal loses its life, even authorities attempt to cover up things so as no one gets punished for their attrocities. Latest story was about a husky named Oliver who was raped, beaten and finally died in a small Greek town, Arachova. Although people have demanded to bring the killer to justice, even the police and other authorities are trying to cover up everything so as not to give Arachova a bad name. You see, their interests are higher than an animals life in that town. We need your help so that maybe someone in authority will be forced to take action. Animals are killed every day in Greece. Last week a mother bear was shot in the woods, along with her two cubs by someone for no reason at all. Just for the fun of it. Before that a dog was hanged on a tree and was found by hikers. Just for the fun of it. Now, the husky, Oliver was raped and beaten to death and although there is an outrage from people who care, authorities are desperately trying to cover up everything because a dogs life in Greece has no value to a lot of Greeks.
