The Issue

This is a calling to the Nectar of the Gods consumers, the corn-cob-can-holding, Busch-Light-drinking family.

My fellow Busch Light consumers,

This is a call to unite and to bring back Busch Light Apple permanently. This should not just be a summer beer. It’s an after-a-long-day-at-work beer, a Thanksgiving celebration beer, a floating down the river beer. It’s the beer we need when we’re sitting by a cozy fireplace watching the snow fall outside. This is a movement to give you certainty and stability — so you know that you can show up at the gas station through rain, sun, or snow to pick up a 30 rack of the best. Through any season we should all be able to grab Busch Light Apple off of the shelves nationwide.

This petition aims to give the decision to the consumer 365 days of the year; Busch Light, the tried and true, or Busch light Apple, the only true contender. The happiness and memories that Busch Light Apple has made are unparalleled and waiting to have an impact on all of our lives once more.

Sign this petition to end the seasonal search, give hope the Busch community, and provide joy in the form of bright red cans.

Below is the short story my first taste of Busch Light Apple if interested, here's the story.

This is my story about love at first taste.

The office was calm, quiet, and rather melancholy on July 13, 2020. I was sitting at work wondering if I had any Busch Light left in the refrigerator when I got a message from one of my best friends. It was a post from Busch with a message saying, “I need to have this!” As I opened the message wondering what it could possibly be, I saw it: a red can slowly rotating, panning closer and further away from the screen.  Finally, a hand came into the shot and cracked open the can. “This is it; this is how Busch Light becomes better,” I said to myself.

Upon getting home and storming through the door, my wife was in shock trying to figure out why it seemed like I had just been in a car crash. I jumped onto the couch and showed her the post. “Are you kidding me? I thought something was wrong,” she yelled. “There is something wrong! I don’t have one of these 12 oz cans containing the Nectar of the Gods in my hand,” I justified. I thought that she would not take it seriously, but to my surprise, she said, “Let’s go to a few stores and see if we can find it.” Excitement rushed through me like I tore the wrapping paper off of a red rider BB gun for Christmas.

At the first store, I was bewildered that there were no advertisements for this magical liquid in an aluminum can. I power-walked to the beer isle like it was Black Friday, turned quickly and realized that there were no bright red boxes sitting on the shelves. Stricken with sorrow, we walked out of the store and started a search that would end up lasting almost a week. The chase led us to store after store, but we the red box containing the biggest advancement in beerology always seemed to allude us. On the fifth day of searching, I arrived at a store, beaten and broken-down thinking that I would get to an isle just to see nothing. I rounded the corner and saw it — a lonesome 12 pack sitting on the floor, BUSCH LIGHT APPLE.

I rushed over to it grabbed it with the strength of the gods and hurried to check out. I barged through the door at home, putting 10 of the beers in the refrigerator and 2 in the freezer so all of them could be ice cold. After 30 minutes of anticipation, I could not restrain myself any longer. So I ran over to the freezer, pulled out that bright red can I had been searching desperately for, and slap it into a coozie.

Cracking the can open and taking my first sip, my taste buds were confused. Was this the Nectar of the Gods or apple juice? Then it hit me: it is the perfect combination of both. The smooth refreshing taste of Busch Light with a beautiful finish of apple. “This is the forbidden balance. This is the beer of beers, This is Busch Light Apple.”

We all enjoyed this Apple beer so much! It needs to be available all the time or at least a seasonal release every year. The sales around our area in NC was great. Why not make something that was great 🍎

My husband said he would remarry me if I can get him another case. I feel like this is the best I can do (at least for now)
