As fans of Lawrence O'Donnell know there have been rumor's that Lawrence's contract will not be renewed in the next 4 weeks. We have read conflicting stories and while it does seem talks to keep The Last Word and Lawrence on air, we wanted our voices heard loud and clear! 

MSNBC will be making a huge mistake if Lawrence O'Donnell's contract is not renewed. He is a voice of truth and wisdom in these turbulent times. We need his honesty on air every night giving a 'reasoned and impassioned approach to the events of the day" (Roger Friedman at Showbiz 411). I can not imagine Maddow handing her show off to anyone but Lawrence. They are a team and teams need each other. 

The Last Word (along with Maddow, Chris Hayes & Joy Reid) have been bringing in the highest ratings in cable news and this is for a reason. The people want truth and honesty. Fans of MSNBC are upset enough over changes this past year and we demand that no more are made anytime soon. Lawrence is one of a group of journalists at MSNBC who are breaking news and keeping the viewers informed.
