Washington County's currently proposed construction method for the western alignment of Saltzman Road south of Laidlaw Rd is too expensive and complex to be feasible in the near term. New development happening all around the road make it increasingly important to solve the problem soon. Spending community dollars on upgrading the current alignment is a waste that won’t solve traffic or safety problems (UNSAFE).

We ask that the Board of County Commissioners consider the proposal submitted by the Bethany Neighborhood Coalition, and sign a Memorandum of Understanding presented to proceed with this future North Bethany enabling solution instead of wasting taxpayer money on an interim fix.
