BETHENNY FRANKEL MUST BE FIRED

Bethenny Frankel's demands and temperament have hijacked the Real Housewives of New York City franchise.  Bethenny is no longer capable of handling the pressures of this reality format.  She’s either crying or yelling, having a nervous breakdown or recovering from a mental meltdown.  Relentless and disturbing fluctuations in her behavior are constantly being broadcast each and every week.  She is completely unpredictable and exhausting to watch.  She has no idea how to resolve any kind of dispute or conflict on any level.  As her only means of expression, Bethenny either screams indiscriminately at fellow cast mates or refuses communication altogether choosing instead to make an awkward and conspicuous exit from any crowded room, office, patio, etc. in order to avoid any foreseeable confrontation.  Viewers do not get a sense of conflict resolution because there is no meaningful intervening confrontation so long as Bethenny retains influence over production.  As a direct result, it has become very disconcerting as a viewer to watch the cast get systematically disparaged, maligned, bullied, mistreated, verbally abused, ostracized and blatantly ignored by an unstable cast member without little or any resolution whatsoever.  And this irrational behavior can be displayed all at once or for periods of time spanning the course of several episodes.  It is clear to the viewer that her influence and demands have compromised the quality of this franchise. It is obvious that the cast has been alienated by her erratic behavior and her perceived control over production suggests a potentially hostile working environment.  Segments of the cast seem to go on for days taping without seeing or shooting with other cast members almost giving the viewer an impression there are two separate, disjointed productions being filmed concurrently.  The overall production has suffered.  Watching Bethenny’s mood swings from episode to episode leads the viewer to conclude that she is refusing to tape with certain cast members for protracted amounts of time creating a sense of discord.  On any given day, it appears each cast member may have no idea with whom they can film or not.  That, along with the routine demands from the rest of the cast, must make the overall production daunting.  That’s simply unfair.  It is frustrating as an avid viewer to watch the caliber of the show decline exponentially because of the demands of one unstable cast member.  It is highly unprofessional to continue to allow someone as visibly unstable as Bethenny dictate the production and casting of an unscripted reality series.  Handing her the reigns has proven to be a big mistake since her return. The whole experience has devolved into watching utter chaos.  As anyone can see, it has been a recipe for disaster this entire season.  In the end, this is an ensemble cast.  No singular person is the star.  Bethenny is no longer fit to participate in this show in any capacity.  For these reasons, Bethenny must be fired in order to gain control of this careening franchise.
