Hello! This update will be short. Governor Beshear has called a special session and the General Assembly is gathering to discuss a list of topics decided by the Governor. There’s a lot of noise and a lot being discussed with regard to schools, masking policies, etc.

One thing that all of you receiving this email can agree on is that every student in the commonwealth should have a viable, effective virtual learning option available to them.

Please call this number and let them know your thoughts on this and other related issues. They are taking calls right now! 1 (800) 372-7181. Mention the petition - this is helpful because it lets them know we are aware that almost 10,000 Kentuckians are united in this cause.

Next, have your friends and family do the same. And, while you’re at it, go ahead and share the petition again with #KYVirtual. Our signatures are lagging, but we are not giving up. Let’s make a big push today. Things have never been more critical and now is the time for action.
