Since we pay the highest vehicle registration tax in the nation, I myself pay $450 a year we should be able to modify our vehicles any way we see fit and not have to have it approved by the city and county of Honolulu and the state of Hawaii. Especially for those of us that live on leeward coast and are stuck in traffic everyday the darker would be beneficial as it would block the sun and make the inside of the vehicle cooler without having to run the AC on max.
