Coral Reefs are being killed off and harmed.  This is because of the chemicals in sunscreen. Coral Reefs are important for many different  reasons aside from supposedly containing the most diverse ecosystems on the planet.  Also they protect coastlines from the damage effects of wave action and tropical storms.  They also provide habitats and shelter for many marine organisms.  The problem affects most marine life.  It also affects snorkeling companies, because most people come to see coral when snorkeling. These snorkeling companies may go out of business. Another reason why this is important is because marine life lives in that coral and it can effect the marine life in the future.
