Justice for Jamie

The Issue

Jamie was detained and brutalized by Tampa Police Department during a nonviolent protest on July 4th, 2020. They fabricated accusations against her, and TPD is still trying to get Jamie to plead guilty to crimes she did not commit over a year later. Jamie has decided to go to court to prove her innocence.
She is currently charged with a felony and a misdemeanor, and if found guilty, she may face up to five years in prison. Jamie will appear in court on September 13th to learn whether the judge will accept the state's plea to suppress Jamie's right to free expression. Sign this petition to pressure the State into dropping her charges.
