Good evening New Yorkers; especially if you're from Putnam County!

Last Monday, March 18th a heated debate ensued in the chamber of the Putnam County Legislature, over the drafting and submittal of a resolution urging the repeal of the RHA!  

Amidst a packed chamber house that often erupted in loud cheers, the legislature voted overwhelmingly  in favor of it (8-1), with many of the pro-life legislators citing the mountain of emails, received from activists like YOU, as the driving force behind the measure!

Although largely symbolic, this resolution is a watershed moment in the fight against the RHA, as the first measure BY ELECTED OFFICIALS themselves, demonstrating opposition!  And by the sounds of it, concerned citizens standing-up for the human rights of the pre-born, by banding together, to email their representatives, is what got it done!  

New Yorkers, we should be inspired by the events in Putnam County!  There is a long way to go, but this resolution, which will be sent/presented to Governor Cuomo, is a vital step, towards the ultimate goal of repealing this horrific law.

Keep calling, emailing, and faxing your elected officials!  At the county and state levels!
