The  newly-released movie "Unplanned" based on the true life story of Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood clinic director turned pro-life activist, opened this past weekend, grossing $6 million, despite all major networks (except Fox) rejecting ad dollars to air previews!  And despite also, that the movie's Twitter account was mysteriously suspended for a brief time on Saturday morning.

The gripping and emotional movie was only expected to top $3 million.  The actual amount is not important but does reflect a momentum and shift in public interest in the debate over abortion in this country; and that is a promising development!  

Although it had only a limited release in 1000 theaters this past weekend, due to it's successful debut, it will be shown in 1700 theaters this weekend!
