It has been a little over a week since Marley was found crushed by a train. The image of her body is one that will haunt my family and I for years to come. The psychological and emotional damage is irreparable and we are left with no closure or answers.

MTA officials have not spoken directly to my mother and I to even apologize, which leaves us wondering why? What are you hiding? Did MTA ever look after the first day? Is there proof of someone looking for Marley? Why didn't they stop the trains after someone reported seeing her Sunday afternoon? Why weren't staff workers of at least 34th street informed of such a big issue?

This question leaves me, the media and the public demanding answers and we demand CHANGE. If a LIFE who was cared for, had a collar, was LOVED was on the tracks alive for days in the same area she was lost why couldn't any worker find her even after rush hours!? There is proof and petitions the public and owners cared for Marley and reached out to MTA and the ONLY people allowed to go on the tracks to find her ignored our desperate cries, why?

Her death WILL NOT BE IN VAIN!
